Where To Eat in Seville For Meaty Tapas

El Paseillo – ($$)

Traditional, Grill, Tapas, Spanish

Located just off Plaza San Francisco, El Paseillo has a large menu that offers customers the opportunity to choose the portion size of many dishes from tapas, medium or large. Alongside many traditional tapas dishes is a large selection of grill dishes including delicious stewed pork cheeks, which were our favourite. A great place for a relaxed vibe, plenty of choices, and something to suit everyone.

El Cairo – ($$)

Spanish, Traditional, Fish and Seafood

El Cairo has been serving up Spanish dishes to Seville since 1977. It’s no doubt that its friendly service is one of its draws, but its menu specialising in seafood and fish is also what sets it apart from many other restaurants in the area. We recommend ordering anything from the fish section of the menu to taste the best of what El Cairo has to offer.

The Oldest Tapas Bar In Seville

El Rinconcillo – ($$)

Spanish, Tapas, Traditional

El Rinconcillo is the oldest bar in Seville, possibly even the oldest bar in Spain, but this is not confirmed. While this has led to the tapas bar becoming a little touristy, it is still one of the restaurants in Seville that you should go to if you’re in town for a few days, as it has retained some of its old-world charm and authenticity. The interior setting is atmospheric, with traditional Spanish tiling, hanging hams, and high ornate ceilings, making it a scenic backdrop for a glass of wine and a plate of tapas or two.

The Best Japanese Restaurant In Seville

Hiyoki – ($$)

Japanese, Sushi

While tapas and Spanish food are amazing, we all like to change things up now and again. Hiyoki has a varied menu of Japanese cuisine including fresh sushi and small Japanese plates such as okonomiyaki, teppanyaki, and tempura. The interior is sleek and modern and the service is exceptional.
